The Role

We’re looking for a Senior AI Developer to join and extend our AI team. You’ll work with the latest technology and AI models to build and maintain the AI features of our platform. Collaborating closely with teams such as R&D and Infrastructure, you’ll help design and develop a backend that enables fast processing of large datasets while integrating seamlessly with AI models and custom algorithms.

We adopt a feature-driven approach using the Shape Up methodology, giving you significant freedom to shape solutions.

Our Tech Stack

• Frontend: Vue.js and Next.js
• Backend: C# - ASP.NET
• AI: Python - FastAPI, LLM Embeddings, Vector Databases, Document processing pipelines.
• Environment: Fully integrated with Azure DevOps

The Role and Your Challenge

As a key member of our development team, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing our FastAPI-based platform, which integrates state-of-the-art AI technologies. Over the past year, we’ve established a solid foundation, delivering features such as text matchers, search engines, text generators and similarity predictors.

The challenge is to sustain our rapid pace of innovation while ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability. If you’re excited to work at the intersection of FastAPI, AI, and advanced software development, this role is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

You Will:

• Build FastAPI endpoints consumed by our C# backend and Vue.js front-end.
• Design and develop solutions for processing large datasets asynchronously.
• Take ownership of applying classical and modern ML/AI techniques to build business oriented solutions.
• Review colleagues' code and provide constructive feedback during architecture discussions.
• Help design a scalable and maintainable system architecture for current and future needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Continuously improve code quality and system performance using modern development practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning, prototyping and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Work with our R&D team and AI engineers to implement new AI driven features for our tender platform.

You Have:

• Extensive experience building scalable backend systems in Python, including expertise in FastAPI or similar modern frameworks.
• Extensive experience applying traditional and modern ML techniques in production.
• Extensive experience in AI/ML integration, including designing APIs to interact with AI models, custom algorithms, and complex data structures like vectors and knowledge graphs.
• A proven track record of building and optimizing solutions for asynchronous processing of large datasets.
• Strong knowledge of database systems and data storage solutions such as Azure Storage, MongoDB, MSSQL, and Pinecone.
• Proficiency with testing practices, including end-to-end and unit tests, to ensure system reliability in production.
• Proficiency with MLOPS best practices to monitor and evaluate AI solutions.
• The ability to design scalable architectures that balance performance, maintainability, and flexibility.
• A collaborative mindset, with experience working closely with R&D and Infrastructure teams.
• Proficiency in cloud-based environments, particularly Azure DevOps, including CI/CD practices and deployments.
